The Myth Olympics 2010

[Pimp] I just registered..can I still play in this event even though its two days away? [/Pimp] The Registration ends in two days, you will be notified via private message over xbl about the dates & times of the brackets.

The Timezones we are using are Eastern. The players who are on the Players, results & Stats page are the ones who have signed up. feel free to invite your friends on live to sign up they have 2 days or so. All players will receive messages about when the 1st (and those that follow) bracket will take place if they have signed up to the page. Also, if players show up to the first match (on XBL), they may be entered into the runnings for that specific event.

The MW2 and Halo 3 tournament will take place on 3 different dates/times which will be decided on what time is best for the majority of the players (which is why you should select time zones etc). They will use the rules of the rules page, the maps posted on the maps page, and will use the settings specified.

Forums for the website have been added, due to a change in forums from Aki's site to mythers.com 's forums, as well as possible problems as to getting into communication in the future. A link to the other forums will still be provided. Be sure to keep an eye out and tell other people to register for these events. The FFA tournament is already show-n-play, the TFFA tournament will probably follow suit but this also depends on the number of registrations.

Anyway, if you've already registered check back in two weeks and shit should be getting underway. If you haven't registered yet, feel free to become a member at the website and fill out a short form provided in registration to select the events you want to participate in, as well as which time zones are more preferable towards you.

I would like to point out that the Join Us page will be disappearing within the coming weeks, and full registration can be done by becoming a member to our website (click members; register), or posting on the MWC2010/MO10 Forums here. The Join Us page is only a preliminary stage of registration, and all registrations submitted to the Join Us page will be valid (until this website decides it doesn't want to send me anymore because I am poor and don't intend on paying for a tournament website that I can't even offer my own prize money for).

Regardless, Keep the registrations coming in and give the word out to any people that might find such 'for fun' competitions enjoyable. Yeah, even those random friends on your XBL friends list.

You know what time it is ladies and gentlemen, MWC season, and with that on our minds we've got a little more time on our hands to play myth.

We've got 6 events open for registration at the moment, so be sure to click join us to register yourself to the website (be accurate on which events you intend to compete in. The day registration ends will be when all players will be registered for their events. We are accepting late entries up until the evening, of course.

Matches for the first games will be beggining shortly after registration ends and players are seeded.

This tournament is open to all players, whether you play myth only, play all games that are there, or only like to mess around in Halo 3 and Modern Warfare 2 and are looking to get some experience under your belt. Be sure to register on the forums located here:

If you want to put in a position for scoring or taking over a tournament or hosting your own for the myth olympics (and set up a sensible tournament structure, its not hard) let me know, and this can be a real 'Olympic' session for the myth community. That scheduling could fuck with this one, but the idea is you'll be able to participate in whatever you've wanted to. This game has survived over a decade it is time to cherish in its glory once again. Enjoy yourselves.
